Pre-Move Survey

Prior to your moving day, we’ll visit you to talk about your specific moving needs. Our professional estimator will then conduct a Pre-Move Survey to provide you with your various options, a move plan and a  fixed price quotation.

Packing Service

Ensuring that everything is packed up ready for a house move is a big task, which is why it is so key that you get professional quality boxes and packing materials, so you know all your belongings are safely and securely ready for moving.

Handyman Service

We also have a handyman service available for house removals, this means our team will dismantle and reassemble belongings which were agreed upon during the site survey - this applies to things such as beds, sheds and wardrobes.

Completion Day

On the day of your move, you will be obliged to ensure the current property has been vacated by 2pm and so you should also receive your keys to the new property at this point. The move will be planned out to ensure you meet all legal obligations and have vacated your current property in the set time frame.

Our pre-move survey

We’ll visit you before the big day to discuss your requirements, and our experienced estimator will carry out a pre-move survey. From here, we’ll give you a written, fixed-price quotation.

Moving day

Move day is also known as completion day. When this arrives, you’re obliged to vacate your current property by 2pm and in turn, you should get the keys to your new property. We’ll carefully plan your move around this exchange to make sure that you meet your legal obligations and are clear of your current property in time.

If you’d prefer to pack your possessions yourselves, you can. We’ll provide boxes and packing materials so that you can do it your way. It’s a great way to keep the cost of moving down. From our initial pre-move survey, we’ll establish how many boxes you need, which size vehicle is required and the number of crewmembers who can support you.

If you choose for us to do all the packing, packaging and preparation, your home can stay as it is now. You don't need to disrupt your living arrangement and you won't be upside-down for weeks. Of course, it’s usually worth having a sort-out before we arrive, rather than moving any unwanted items with you!

We typically start the packing and preparation prior to move day to make sure this goes as smoothly as possible for you. Don't worry - we’ll agree to your exact schedule during your pre-move survey so that the only surprise is how seamless the whole process is.
