I had a first class service with Ballards Removals from the quote to the day of removal. The guys that came on the day were polite, helpful and obviously knew their job. From dealing with Steve (Lunt) prior to move day, to the great team who attended to do the job, Ballards was absolutely fantastic. The guys worked so hard with some very heavy items and nothing seemed too much trouble, with them ensuring our minds were fully at ease. Nothing was broken, and they were at all times polite and professional. I wouldn’t use any other firm now!

The day we moved it was torrential rain, the guys were in great spirits despite getting drenched. The boxes and furniture stayed dry and secure. When we got the keys it was fast and seamless to get the van unloaded. We would highly recommend.

HQ staff were responsive and kept us informed throughout. The move itself lasted four days and went like clockwork. All the staff involved were efficient, polite and respectful. We have recently moved home from Northamptonshire to Somerset. Throughout the whole process our experience of Ballards/Steeles of Stamford was excellent at every stage. We were impressed with the documentation prior to choosing a company, impressed with Shane the surveyor and with Lizz and Steve for phone contacts. Most of all though we were delighted with the team assigned to our actual removal. Ash, Josh, Mark and Stuart were all excellent - they were highly professional, personable, hard working and cheery throughout. They made an inevitably stressful situation far less so and we are extremely grateful. We would whole heartedly recommend this company

The Ballard team were great from start to finish. We were concerned if the removal van would be too big to get down the access drive. They actually went and reviewed it, ascertained a smaller lorry would additionally be needed to transfer the load up to the bungalow. The team of 4 on the day were lovely, so hard working, friendly and very good at what they did. Highly recommend the company. Many thanks for a painless removal.

Excellent removal firm and I would recommend it without any reservations. The team was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them to carry out. They arrived on time in the morning at 7am and after a look round and a few questions to me got on with the job, 5 hours in all. I was given the opportunity to inspect all rooms and they left as promptly as they arrived. My belongings are going into storage provided by them (very good rate as was the whole cost of the removal) so I won't be seeing them for a few weeks.

Ballards moved us out of our previous house and into storage for 5 weeks and then into our new house. Every aspect of the move went really well and each stage was handled by cheerful, helpful staff. The cost of the move was competitive against other quotes and the service excellent. I would happily recommend Ballard for moving home.
