Waited patiently whilst the solicitors did their thing. Unpacked everything with care and made sure everything was placed exactly where we wanted it. We have used Ballards twice now and wouldn't hesitate in using them again and recommending them to anyone who needs a removal firm.

I’ve never used a removal company as I have always moved myself in the past but I was blown away at how good an experience it was! The lads who moved us grafted all day and got it done very efficiently. I would definitely recommend Ballards Removals!

Ballards were fantastic from start to finish. They came on time to give us the quote. The person was dressed smartly, polite and thorough with the questioning to give an accurate quotation that was very reasonable. The removal people on the day were on time polite and respectful of us and our furniture. They took their time in wrapping and loading to make sure everything was safe and secure. When at the new property to offload some more of Ballard's staff came to help to make sure the job was done efficiently. They were brilliant and didn't leave until we were happy with everything being in the correct room. I would highly recommend them and will certainly be using them again in the future. It was a pleasure to find a company that actually do their job with pride from the moment I made the call to me closing the door on my new home. Well Done Ballards!!!

This is the second time I have used Ballards, first time was 12 years ago and then again on the 5th Feb 2026. As before the two guys that came and packed me up and moved me were absolutely fantastic, because I’ve moved into a flat due to downsizing I needed my fridge freezer doors to open the opposite way and as I’m now a single lady and nearly 50 they did it for me which isn’t their job but as always they do go above and beyond. I didn’t even bother shopping around getting quotes as with Ballards you do get what you pay for and as last time there were not one item damaged or broken, I’m not planning on moving anymore but if I do Ballards will be the company that I use. Massive thanks Ballards.

Ballards did our removals when we moved house on the hottest June day on record. The team we had were exceptional considering the conditions. They ensured everything was in the correct place and took care when moving all of our items.

The team from Ballards were simply extraordinary! Sadie, Stuart, Mark and Boothy all packed and loaded the van with genuine care and respect for our belongings. They packed and loaded an entire 3 storey house in a heatwave with professionalism and pride. They were also absolutely lovely people and were a pleasure to spend time with. We had Mark and Boothy then drive to our new home in Norfolk, where they continued to work exceptionally hard for a further 1.5 days. We really enjoyed getting to know the lads, too. They really were astounding and I cannot recommend the Ballards experience enough. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Ballards to anyone. Thank you, team!

Great experience with the Ballards team. From initial quote to moving day, they were very informative and helpful. The day we moved it was torrential rain, the guys were in great spirits despite getting drenched. The boxes and furniture stayed dry and secure. When we got the keys it was fast and seamless to get the van unloaded. We would highly recommend.

From the moment of the initial contact (without knowing when we were moving and where we were moving to) Steve put us at ease that we were going to be looked after and that was exactly what happened. Great communication throughout (emails responded to quickly and a real and knowledgeable person to talk to on the phone when needed) made everything run smoothly. We went for self pack and boxes etc were delivered in plenty of time, and turned out to be a perfect estimate of what we needed. Can’t praise the team on the day highly enough - wow they emptied our 3 bed detached house in no time at all and with great care and good humour. And from speaking to friends and family, at a really good price. Definitely 5 stars from us.

Steve was calm and helpful and then Nick and Dave who did the move were exceptional and everything arrived from Yorkshire to Essex without one breakage. Well done Ballards. Used Ballards for our removal from Worksop to Milton Keynes. The guys who took ownership of the removal were superb. They arrived on time, loading was super-efficient and even though there were delays with the completion on the day, they stuck with us, got everything offloaded until the end and just did an amazing job! Would 110% recommend them and wouldn't look anywhere else in the future.
