Ballards moved us out of our previous house and into storage for 5 weeks and then into our new house. Every aspect of the move went really well and each stage was handled by cheerful, helpful staff. Ballards were great. All went well with the move and your lads were a great bunch. Nothing was too much trouble, we could have a laugh (most important during a stressful time for us), and everything done professionally. Absolutely fantastic experience moving with Ballards. From the initial quote/phone call to the removal day and beyond. The staff are extremely professional, helpful and made the whole process easy and stress free.Ballards were able to accommodate our move with less than a weeks notice after we'd had a bit of nightmare with solicitors. We were able to buy boxes and packing materials from them and thought the quote we were given was very reusable and we would 100% be happy to pay again if we ever move in the future. On the day Brad & Brad arrived 10 mins early and were friendly, informative and worked quickly yet very carefully removing all our furniture. We felt at ease during the process & we had some time after everything was packed to deep clean the house. We met them at our new home after we had got the keys and it only took just over an hour for everything to be moved back in to the house as 2 others came to help who again were friendly and could not have been more helpful. The whole house moving process is very stressful in general but Ballards made it nothing but easy. They even were able to pop round a week after the move to take away unwanted boxes. 10/10 experience thank you so much to the whole team.

We used this company for our recent house move. We had nothing but praise for every part of the service. Their professionalism really made the day as stressless as possible. Arrived on time, lovely hardworking, friendly guys. they worked tirelessly. we had no damage at either end. Excellent service.

We got a few Quotes and Ballards was a good price (which was for 3 removers but 4 arrived, so that was a bonus). The removal men turned up punctually at 8am and were polite and helpful. The vans were loaded in about 3 1/2 hours and unloaded at the other end by roughly 3.30pm. Overall the experience was a good one but, in the spirit of a honest review, a few items of furniture were scratched (dining table and headboard) or damaged (metal leg knocked off small table and new front door scratched) during the move. So, maybe the guys could have been a little more gentle. That said, this is is our 11th move and invariably things do (but shouldn't) get marked or damaged. We have used them in the past and we would use them again (not that we are planning anything in the near future)!

First class service from both the team in the office who dealt with the booking and the crew who helped me move. The removals team were brilliant, so careful with every item and nothing was too much trouble. They are a credit to the company. I will have no hesitation in recommending this company in the future.

From dealing with Steve (Lunt) prior to move day, to the great team who attended to do the job, Ballards was absolutely fantastic. The guys worked so hard with some very heavy items and nothing seemed too much trouble, with them ensuring our minds were fully at ease. Nothing was broken, and they were at all times polite and professional. I wouldn’t use any other firm now!

The Ballard team were great from start to finish. We were concerned if the removal van would be too big to get down the access drive. They actually went and reviewed it, ascertained a smaller lorry would additionally be needed to transfer the load up to the bungalow. HQ staff were responsive and kept us informed throughout. The move itself lasted four days and went like clockwork. All the staff involved were efficient, polite and respectful.
