First class service from both the team in the office who dealt with the booking and the crew who helped me move. The removals team were brilliant, so careful with every item and nothing was too much trouble. They are a credit to the company. I will have no hesitation in recommending this company in the future.

Went above and beyond in dismantling furniture where needed and all with a smile and “no problem” attitude. Everything delivered safely and efficiently. Fantastic service from start to finish. We hope to not move for another ten years but if we do we will be back to Ballards to manage the move.

Excellent removal firm and I would recommend it without any reservations. The team was excellent and nothing was too much trouble for them to carry out. They arrived on time in the morning at 7am and after a look round and a few questions to me got on with the job, 5 hours in all. I was given the opportunity to inspect all rooms and they left as promptly as they arrived. My belongings are going into storage provided by them (very good rate as was the whole cost of the removal) so I won't be seeing them for a few weeks.

The three man team were again five stars, quick efficient and effective they all knew their job, 100% friendly from beginning to end, no mess no damage and extremely obliging, kept up to date throughout the office staff again five stars, we can only recommend Ballards highly.

HQ staff were responsive and kept us informed throughout. The move itself lasted four days and went like clockwork. All the staff involved were efficient, polite and respectful. Can’t recommend Ballards highly enough. From the moment of the initial contact (without knowing when we were moving and where we were moving to) Steve put us at ease that we were going to be looked after and that was exactly what happened. Great communication throughout (emails responded to quickly and a real and knowledgeable person to talk to on the phone when needed) made everything run smoothly. We went for self pack and boxes etc were delivered in plenty of time, and turned out to be a perfect estimate of what we needed. Can’t praise the team on the day highly enough - wow they emptied our 3 bed detached house in no time at all and with great care and good humour. And from speaking to friends and family, at a really good price. Definitely 5 stars from us.

Move from Newark to Northumberland 6/7th Jan 2026 The 4 guys arrived as arranged at 8am, were very professional and helpful throughout the whole process. We were packed up and ready to go by 11.30 which was fantastic. The following day they were already at the new property by 7.30 and started work immediately. Again they were finished by 11.30 even though there were only 2 of them this time. They even found 2 tiny screws from our bed fitting that had fallen off into the van - saved us a lot of hassle and meant we could spend our first night in our own bed - marvellous. They couldn't have worked harder or been more helpful if they tried. Our move couldn't have gone any better and we would highly recommend your company to anyone. From start to finish, your company made it easy to complete our move and was the least stressful of the buying, selling and moving process. Thank you.

Used Ballards for our removal from Worksop to Milton Keynes. The guys who took ownership of the removal were superb. They arrived on time, loading was super-efficient and even though there were delays with the completion on the day, they stuck with us, got everything offloaded until the end and just did an amazing job! Would 110% recommend them and wouldn't look anywhere else in the future.

My son used Ballard removals, on the day four men turned up with two Lorries . They worked non stop all day were very polite and nothing was too much trouble . If you’re thinking of moving I would recommend Ballards from the start. Thanks again Guys.

The guys worked so hard with some very heavy items and nothing seemed too much trouble, with them ensuring our minds were fully at ease. Nothing was broken, and they were at all times polite and professional. I wouldn’t use any other firm now!
