They packed and loaded an entire 3 storey house in a heatwave with professionalism and pride. They were also absolutely lovely people and were a pleasure to spend time with. We had Mark and Boothy then drive to our new home in Norfolk, where they continued to work exceptionally hard for a further 1.5 days. We really enjoyed getting to know the lads, too. Ballards moved us out of our previous house and into storage for 5 weeks and then into our new house. Every aspect of the move went really well and each stage was handled by cheerful, helpful staff. The cost of the move was competitive against other quotes and the service excellent. I would happily recommend Ballard for moving home.

Used Ballards for our removal from Worksop to Milton Keynes. The guys who took ownership of the removal were superb. They arrived on time, loading was super-efficient and even though there were delays with the completion on the day, they stuck with us, got everything offloaded until the end and just did an amazing job! Would 110% recommend them and wouldn't look anywhere else in the future.

The initial visit to inspect and provide a quotation was done efficiently and on time. The price quoted was reasonable and it was very easy to arrange a suitable date to move. On the day, the three men and two vans arrived early and worked really hard despite the heat of the day. Our belongings were well cared for and no damage happened in transit. We had used Ballard's when we moved last time, thirty years ago, and their service still has much to recommend it. Thank you for helping us through a very busy and potentially stressful day.

From the moment of the initial contact (without knowing when we were moving and where we were moving to) Steve put us at ease that we were going to be looked after and that was exactly what happened. Great communication throughout (emails responded to quickly and a real and knowledgeable person to talk to on the phone when needed) made everything run smoothly. We went for self pack and boxes etc were delivered in plenty of time, and turned out to be a perfect estimate of what we needed. Can’t praise the team on the day highly enough - wow they emptied our 3 bed detached house in no time at all and with great care and good humour. And from speaking to friends and family, at a really good price. Definitely 5 stars from us.
