Ballards were fantastic from start to finish. They came on time to give us the quote. The person was dressed smartly, polite and thorough with the questioning to give an accurate quotation that was very reasonable. The removal people on the day were on time polite and respectful of us and our furniture. They took their time in wrapping and loading to make sure everything was safe and secure. When at the new property to offload some more of Ballard's staff came to help to make sure the job was done efficiently. They were brilliant and didn't leave until we were happy with everything being in the correct room. I would highly recommend them and will certainly be using them again in the future. It was a pleasure to find a company that actually do their job with pride from the moment I made the call to me closing the door on my new home. Well Done Ballards!!!

Ballards were very professional from start to finish.on the day of our moving 3 men came into our home covered the floor,carefully packed the lorry, providing portable wardrobes, and took down beds and wardrobes. Our exchange and completion were delayed, so they had some delay, but were excellent on arrival at new home, putting back beds and wardrobes with same care, boxes in rooms as stated.cant praise these men enough, we are elderly and wouldn’t have been able to do much of it ourselves. Thank you and if there were 10 stars you’d get them.

We have recently moved home from Northamptonshire to Somerset. Throughout the whole process our experience of Ballards/Steeles of Stamford was excellent at every stage. We were impressed with the documentation prior to choosing a company, impressed with Shane the surveyor and with Lizz and Steve for phone contacts. Most of all though we were delighted with the team assigned to our actual removal. Ash, Josh, Mark and Stuart were all excellent - they were highly professional, personable, hard working and cheery throughout. They made an inevitably stressful situation far less so and we are extremely grateful. We would whole heartedly recommend this company

Great experience with the Ballards team. From initial quote to moving day, they were very informative and helpful. The day we moved it was torrential rain, the guys were in great spirits despite getting drenched. The boxes and furniture stayed dry and secure. When we got the keys it was fast and seamless to get the van unloaded. We would highly recommend.

We recently used Ballards on a big move from Nottinghamshire up to Dent, Cumbria. From the initial call with Steve, the video evaluation of all our stuff to the answering my multiple random questions over WhatsApp Steve was there. On the big day Rowan & Stuart arrived a bit early, introduced themselves and reassured us that there would not be any problem fitting our furniture on to the removal lorry. They were both extremely careful to protect the carpets and our walls as they were moving things out and the loading up was like a complicated jigsaw, very careful and secure. Day 2 to finish off went by in a flash and they were quickly heading north to our new home. The driveway and access to the house is very steep and a man made narrow track but this wasn't a problem for the Luton van they had brought along to decant from the big lorry which they had to park up several miles away. It was roasting hot but the team of 4 which now included Jake and Pete worked tirelessly to get our furniture into place as quickly as possible. In fact they all got up at 5am to enable them to arrive with the first Luton load by 6am. It was a really great experience and I have no hesitation in recommending them or using them again in the future. Thanks a million to you all for making this part of the process pretty stress free and comfortable.
