We have recently moved home from Northamptonshire to Somerset. Throughout the whole process our experience of Ballards/Steeles of Stamford was excellent at every stage. We were impressed with the documentation prior to choosing a company, impressed with Shane the surveyor and with Lizz and Steve for phone contacts. Most of all though we were delighted with the team assigned to our actual removal. Ash, Josh, Mark and Stuart were all excellent - they were highly professional, personable, hard working and cheery throughout. They actually went and reviewed it, ascertained a smaller lorry would additionally be needed to transfer the load up to the bungalow. Used Ballards for our removal from Worksop to Milton Keynes. The guys who took ownership of the removal were superb. They arrived on time, loading was super-efficient and even though there were delays with the completion on the day, they stuck with us, got everything offloaded until the end and just did an amazing job! Would 110% recommend them and wouldn't look anywhere else in the future.

I have used Ballards on a few occasions when moving and they have always been great. This move was no exception, the team were organised, helpful and carried out the job with a real level of care. Given the heat on the days we packed/moved they were fantastic and no request was too much. The office team were also great with handling anything booking related. Definitely recommend.

From dealing with Steve (Lunt) prior to move day, to the great team who attended to do the job, Ballards was absolutely fantastic. The guys worked so hard with some very heavy items and nothing seemed too much trouble, with them ensuring our minds were fully at ease. The person was dressed smartly, polite and thorough with the questioning to give an accurate quotation that was very reasonable. The removal people on the day were on time polite and respectful of us and our furniture. They took their time in wrapping and loading to make sure everything was safe and secure. When at the new property to offload some more of Ballard's staff came to help to make sure the job was done efficiently. They were brilliant and didn't leave until we were happy with everything being in the correct room. I would highly recommend them and will certainly be using them again in the future. Ballards moved us out of our previous house and into storage for 5 weeks and then into our new house. Every aspect of the move went really well and each stage was handled by cheerful, helpful staff. The cost of the move was competitive against other quotes and the service excellent. I would happily recommend Ballard for moving home.

Ballards were very professional from start to finish.on the day of our moving 3 men came into our home covered the floor,carefully packed the lorry, providing portable wardrobes, and took down beds and wardrobes. Our exchange and completion were delayed, so they had some delay, but were excellent on arrival at new home, putting back beds and wardrobes with same care, boxes in rooms as stated.cant praise these men enough, we are elderly and wouldn’t have been able to do much of it ourselves. Thank you and if there were 10 stars you’d get them.
