Waited patiently whilst the solicitors did their thing. Unpacked everything with care and made sure everything was placed exactly where we wanted it. We have used Ballards twice now and wouldn't hesitate in using them again and recommending them to anyone who needs a removal firm.

The Ballard team were great from start to finish. We were concerned if the removal van would be too big to get down the access drive. They actually went and reviewed it, ascertained a smaller lorry would additionally be needed to transfer the load up to the bungalow. The team of 4 on the day were lovely, so hard working, friendly and very good at what they did. Highly recommend the company. Many thanks for a painless removal.

Can’t recommend Ballards highly enough. From the moment of the initial contact (without knowing when we were moving and where we were moving to) Steve put us at ease that we were going to be looked after and that was exactly what happened. Great communication throughout (emails responded to quickly and a real and knowledgeable person to talk to on the phone when needed) made everything run smoothly. We went for self pack and boxes etc were delivered in plenty of time, and turned out to be a perfect estimate of what we needed. Can’t praise the team on the day highly enough - wow they emptied our 3 bed detached house in no time at all and with great care and good humour. And from speaking to friends and family, at a really good price. Definitely 5 stars from us.

Absolutely fantastic experience moving with Ballards. From the initial quote/phone call to the removal day and beyond. The staff are extremely professional, helpful and made the whole process easy and stress free.Ballards were able to accommodate our move with less than a weeks notice after we'd had a bit of nightmare with solicitors. We were able to buy boxes and packing materials from them and thought the quote we were given was very reusable and we would 100% be happy to pay again if we ever move in the future. On the day Brad & Brad arrived 10 mins early and were friendly, informative and worked quickly yet very carefully removing all our furniture. We felt at ease during the process & we had some time after everything was packed to deep clean the house. We met them at our new home after we had got the keys and it only took just over an hour for everything to be moved back in to the house as 2 others came to help who again were friendly and could not have been more helpful. The whole house moving process is very stressful in general but Ballards made it nothing but easy. They even were able to pop round a week after the move to take away unwanted boxes. 10/10 experience thank you so much to the whole team.

Steve was calm and helpful and then Nick and Dave who did the move were exceptional and everything arrived from Yorkshire to Essex without one breakage. Well done Ballards. 3 friendly men moved us out house to another one 3hrs away, were speedy and efficient. Protected items that could get damaged.

The initial visit to inspect and provide a quotation was done efficiently and on time. The price quoted was reasonable and it was very easy to arrange a suitable date to move. On the day, the three men and two vans arrived early and worked really hard despite the heat of the day. Our belongings were well cared for and no damage happened in transit. We had used Ballard's when we moved last time, thirty years ago, and their service still has much to recommend it. Thank you for helping us through a very busy and potentially stressful day.
