From Gainsborough to Harrogate and the NEC – taking the show on the road

We’re often known for house moves, but every so often we swap sofas and wardrobes for exhibition stands.

A local business in Gainsborough asked us to handle the transport of their large display stand to trade shows in Harrogate and the NEC in Birmingham. If you’ve ever exhibited at a trade show, you’ll know how much rides on everything arriving safely and on time.

When doors open, you need to be ready.

Why exhibition transport is different

Exhibition and trade show transport comes with its own kind of pressure. Venue access times are strict. Loading bays are busy. There’s usually a very small window to get in, unload, and get out again.

And of course, the stand itself often represents months of preparation and a big financial investment.

For this Gainsborough business, reliability wasn’t just helpful – it was essential.

How we supported their Harrogate and NEC shows

We collected the exhibition stand directly from their Gainsborough premises, carefully packed and secured it, and transported it to Harrogate in line with the venue’s access schedule.

Once the show was over, we returned to collect everything and bring it safely back.

The process worked so smoothly that we were asked to repeat it for the NEC Birmingham, and we’ve since been instructed for future shows too.

It’s a different kind of removals job, but the principle is the same – turn up on time, handle everything carefully, and make it easy for the client to focus on what they do best.
