Things have moved on apace since our last blog!
Ballards new removals and storage hub is getting nearer
As you can see in the short video below, the office block and administration centre, which will be at the London Road entrance, now has its roof on and will soon be ready for interior fitting out. The building has been designed to fit in with the local style and with a welcoming reception area for customers.
The purpose built storage warehouse is also taking shape, and includes features such as highly insulated walls to keep the temperature inside the building as consistent as possible, creating the best environment for storage of furniture and possessions. We have fitted an all-weather canopy to keep things dry when loading / unloading and inside, the building will feature a precisely levelled concrete floor, keeping everything flat and eliminating any risk of toppling crate stacks!
As you can see, we have a huge area for our removals vans and lorries to use and there will be dedicated areas for self-storage storage and van hire.
Everything’s going exactly to plan so far and we’re looking forward to having our new facilities up and running by the autumn.
