See the parade of vintage removals vehicles organised by BAR
As active members of BAR, the British Association of Removers, we were delighted to be involved with the annual conference on 23-25 May. This year, the event was in Stratford-upon-Avon and as always was a useful event for removal professionals.
The highlight for us though was the parade of 25 vintage removals vehicles through Stratford, including a Victorian horse drawn carriage and trucks that served in WW2. Several of the vehicles in the parade have been used for a variety of purposes in their long lives.
Richard Ballard was delighted to join in, giving the “old girl”, his 1969 Ford Transit, a run out. She only ventures out on special occasions these days, but is a great reminder of how Ballards Removals was started, all those years ago.
