As a real family business with a strong commitment to customer service, we were delighted to win the “Service Excellence” award at the 2016 Midlands Family Business Awards.
The awards scheme was created by the Wilson Organisation in Nottingham, to celebrate family run and owned businesses across the Midlands, from Telford across to the Lincolnshire coast. The awards are highly valued by businesses in the area and there were over 1000 nominations this year!
Ballards Removals were named as winners of the “Service Excellence” category this year, so Richard and Jeanette were proud to accept the award at a prestigious black tie ceremony and dinner which took place 17 November 2016 at Birmingham’s Great Hall. We were competing against some excellent local businesses who, like us, provide services in Nottingham, Derby and across the Midlands and we’d like to commend all of this year’s finalists. Congratulations also to John Pye Auctions who were the “Family Business of the Year” overall winners.
