Things are coming together nicely at Markham Moor, our purpose built premises by the A1.
We always plan our customers’ moves carefully and our own move is no different – there’s a lot to do, but it’s all in the master plan! Everything is on schedule for our relocation later this year and we are all looking forward to serving our customers from our brand new premises. Have a look at these two short videos.
Inside our new storage warehouse
As you can see in the video, the new, larger warehouse is taking shape and we’re installing a mezzanine area to accommodate larger items which won’t fit into containers.
We have lots of people on-site racing around to get things ready.
In the Head Office building, the offices have been decorated, flooring and office furniture will be delivered soon and the staff canteen is being fitted out – hopefully we’ll be able to show you more of that in our next video.
Outside storage space
Outside, as you can see, we are right next to the A1 with a huge amount of space for our removals vehicles, hire vans, containers and caravan storage, and we’re already booking people in for caravan storage over the coming winter. The outside areas are being levelled off and surfaced and our signage is going up, with gates and final security systems being installed later this month.
