Ballards were delighted to help with a charity ball fund raising event for St. Luke’s Hospice Sheffield
There was some smart thinking when Faith Douglas made creative use of a marquee being used for a family wedding. Faith is a keen supporter of St. Luke’s hospice in Sheffield and she realised that keeping the marquee for an extra day meant that she could hold a charity ball in support of the hospice. Everything was in place and all that was needed was people and music
The famous Thoresby Colliery Band were enlisted to provide the welcoming music for the guests with a local band Head Will Roll providing more entertainment. Tickets sold like hot cakes and the ball generated a tremendous total in excess of £17,500 for the hospice. Ballards were pleased to support Faith’s charity ball and applaud her inventive fund raising effort.
