We’re finalists in the 2017 Family Business Awards!
At Ballards, we take pride in being a real family business with a strong commitment to customer service and to building a great working environment for our team. The business was started in 1978 and now employs over 40 people, involved in removals and storage, logistics and much more.
The awards are the organised by The Wilson Organisation in Nottingham, who created the not-for-profit awards scheme to celebrate family run and owned businesses across the Midlands, from Telford across to the Lincolnshire coast. The awards are highly valued by businesses in the area and there were over 1000 nominations this year!
Ballards Removals has been nominated as a finalist in two categories this year, “Service Excellence” and “Employer of the Year”. We’re up against some excellent local businesses who, like us, provide services in Nottingham, Derby and across the Midlands. The winners will be announced at an Award Dinner on 9th November with a chance and we wish all of the other finalists the best of luck.
The People’s Choice awards
This additional award is particularly important to businesses like us as, rather than using a judging panel, the winners are determined by votes from customers – i.e. you!
