Containerised self storage - flexible and economical
Our purpose built warehouse in Tuxford is ideally placed for self storage in Retford, Worksop and Newark and has 24 hour security, CCTV and Redcare alarm systems linked directly to the Police and emergency services.
Our Self-Store service gives you the ability to store your furniture and possessions using the same containers we use for our own storage.
Why use Self-store?
The self store option works very well for people on a budget, as you save money by packing the crate yourself. You can also have access to your crate should you need to add to or remove something from it whilst it is with us.
How does Self Storage work?
You rent our purpose built wooden storage containers – from just one, to as many as you need.
The containers are secure and lockable, measuring 6ft across, 8ft 6inchs deep and 7ft 6inchs high, which gives 250 cubic ft of space in each.
Loading your self-store container
Your containers are placed by forklift in the specialist loading area where you can reverse your car or van right up to them, making it easy to transport your possessions quickly and safely.
Protective blankets and card are provided for your use and our staff are on hand to advise on the best way to load your containers and make the most of your space.
When you have filled and secured your containers they are moved from the loading area and place the warehouse zone using a forklift.
Accessing your self-store container
You can access your containers any time Monday - Friday between 6am and 6pm, by prior arrangement. We do ask that you give us as much notice as possible when you are going to visit, so we can move your containers to the loading area.
Out of hours access can be arranged by prior agreement.
How much does Self-Storage cost?
We like to keep things simple: £8+VAT per container per week.
For a small extra charge, we can help you to load your containers – please let us know in advance if you require assistance.

How do I book?
To book, call 01777 871871 to book your container/s. You don’t have to tell us at the time of booking how many containers you require, we have lots available and we can just keep them coming.
